When I changed the OS on my laptop, from Windows 7 to Ubuntu 11.10, my first question was if I need on this OS an application to clean temporary files. The answer was NO.
Its a little bit true because on Linux kernels you dont need a program to defrag your partition or to clean temporary files. But surprise, it exist an application, like Ccleaner (if you know it), that delete those files, the history, log files, cookies etc.
I find BleachBit, an application like CCleaner, but who works on Linux kernels( I only tried it on Ubuntu, LinuxMint and Fedora) and had a nice and simplified interface.
Its simple to install it... you only have to type in terminal the command: sudo apt-get install bleachbit
PS: In the next days Ill come with some tutorials of c++...
